5 axis machining has put Hoosier on the map as a premier machining facility. Our latest strategic move has been to take it to the next level with a 7 axis high speed mill/turn machine. We not only can make parts faster and more efficiently than before, but we now can pass this savings on to you offering a more cost competitive product.
The Swiss have designed an excellent machine for making tiny and tight tolerance parts. Adding the Deco 13a to our capability has transformed our swiss machining on tiny parts.
Continued efforts of vertical integration and streamlined efficiency translated to purchasing a local EDM supplier over a year ago. We moved all of their operations internal at Hoosier and now have Wire and Sinker EDM technology.
Tight tolerance straightness and long id gun drilling requirements are what led to this purchase. The Sigma 20 is a strong and robust machine that excels in compression and polyaxial screws, poly heads and many other challenging projects.
