Capabilities
CNC Machining
Computer Numerical Control (CNC) is used by a class of machines that perform sophisticated and precise milling work. Invaluable for their adaptability and accuracy, Hoosier uses CNC multi axis machines to create a variety of finished machine parts. From parts that go on the MARS rover to parts that go into the human body and all things in between.Investing in 5 and 7 axis machines continues year after year and we are proud to say that we are among the strongest 5 and 7 axis machining facilities in the US. Our programmers and machinist are all highly skilled craftsman that make your parts not only to print, but with a touch of class.
Key Features
Dry MachiningWith over 16 machines running dry we are well suited to handle the critical needs of the implantable industry.
Models vs. Print
Programming to models is the norm at Hoosier. Challenging geometries often leave key features undimensioned. That’s ok, we’re use to it. We program to models and inspect to print.
Cell Manufacturing
We utilize cell based manufacturing to increase throughput, accuracy, and communication through the machining process. This yields a better part, more thorough process and shorter lead time for our customers.
